Judy’s Favorites

Being a new parent means… saving money where you can! I LOVE saving and these are some of my favorites. I use all of these when I do my shopping!

This page is created to share with you all the products and services that I recommend and may be valuable to you.

Disclosure: There are affiliate links below and I may get a small commission if you sign up or make a purchase through these links. However, these are all products and services that I personally use and recommend.

1. Rakuten

Sign up for a free account with Rakuten to earn free cash back on your online purchases! They have a ton of stores that they work with to provide you with cash back (Target, Macy’s, to name a few).

All you have to do is go on their website and select the store you want to shop at, or what I like to do, is have a Chrome plug-in installed on my browser. Every time I am on a website, Rakuten will show if they work with that store or not. They often have 2x Cash Back deals as well.

If you sign up through my Rakuten link, you can receive a free $30 cash back after spending at least $30 within 90 days of sign up.

2. BeFrugal

BeFrugal is another cash back service, very similar to Rakuten. I like to have both Rakuten and BeFrugal installed on my browser. Although you can only use one plug-in per purchase, I check both to compare if there is one cash back offer better than the other. Sometimes, the store you are shopping at is only available on one of these sites, so it is good to have both extensions set up.

If you sign up through my BeFrugal link, you can receive a free $10 sign-up bonus once you earn $10 cash back.

3. Ibotta

Ibotta gives you rebates from taking pictures of your receipts, mostly from grocery and convenience stores. Depending on the item you purchased, you may get anywhere from $0.10 to a couple of dollars back from one item.

If you sign up through my Ibotta link, or use my referral code xenmijk you can receive a free $10 when you submit your first receipt.

4. Dosh

Dosh is an app where you can connect your credit cards and Dosh will automatically give you cash back from the stores that are eligible.

There have been so many times where I am shopping in-store, and I get a notification on my phone from Dosh saying I got cash back. I literally did not have to do anything, except pay with my card like how I usually would.

If you sign up through my Dosh link, you can receive $10 once you connect a verified credit or debit card, and make a purchase with a store connected with Dosh.

5. Honey

Honey is another browser extension that you can use for shopping. What makes Honey unique is it can search a bunch of coupon codes and check if the codes work with your purchase. Then they would give you the code with the biggest savings.

But what I use the most from Honey is probably their Droplist function. Droplist is Honey’s price tracking tool. You can add an item to the droplist, and if there is a price drop in the item you added, you will get an email notifying you that your item dropped in price. (And then I usually go and buy that item after getting that email).

Honey also displays a nice graph of the item’s previous price trends. So I can actually go in and see if this item usually sells at a certain price, or if it’s currently at its lowest price. I mostly use this when I shop at Amazon, because their prices seem to fluctuate all the time.

If you sign up through my Honey link, you can receive a 500 Honey Gold bonus. You can redeem your Honey Gold points for cash or gift cards.
